Services
Gamoteca has a diverse, creative and experienced team of learning designers and technologists. Our approach leverages not just learning technology, but new tools and methods to solve problems in user-centric ways. We endeavour to enable others to create and share their own learning experiences.
We recognise that companies may lack the initial capacity to design and implement new learning experiences. As with various medium transformations, the process is not just about migrating content to a new format but reimagining the entire learning experience, leveraging and pushing the boundaries of what Gamoteca has to offer while complementing existing tools and methodologies.
Custom Game Creation Support
Define the audience, problem and learning objectives
Create a multi-role storyboard with human-connected, game elements
Design a custom learning experience on the Gamoteca creator platform
Deploy the learning experience at scale through a Learning Management System (LMS)
We thrive on creating a learning experience that achieves its learning objectives, while making it interactive and fun for the learner. Using human centred design (HCD) principles,
Gamoteca’s learning experts can help your company to design and deploy learning experiences at scale.
The costs vary according to length and complexity of the learning experience, and is calculated at pre-agreed daily consultancy rates. As an example, a learning experience with two roles and 15 interactions (approximately 1 hour of learning time) would take about 10-15 consulting days.
Learning Hackathons
Hackathons should not be reserved for coders and technology specialists. The main objectives of a learning hackathon are:
01
Learning about human-connected, game-based learning – Participants are introduced to the basics of gamification, serious games, design thinking and the Gamoteca creator and player.
02
Co-creation using human-centred design (HCD) thinking – Participants are given the opportunity to apply design thinking practices, collaborate with each other and rapidly co-create new learning experiences.
03
The process is accelerated and through co-creation teams produce a prototype at the end of the hackathon, usually within three days. Prototypes are peer-tested and improved based on user feedback.
